>> reporter: good morning, i heard that storm tracker 6 live app going off, i know it woke me up. storm tracker 6 live double scan shows us the heaviest storms are off the coastline. the heavy rain and thunderstorms that we were tracking you can go in closer, they are on the garden state parkway near surf city. they committed the region and racing through, dumps in spots inches of rain and yairs southwest of our region -- areas southwest of our region. you can see lightning strikes continuing, you can see that off the coastline where there's a special marine warning. right now we're looking dry. we had severe thunderstorm watch boxes popping up. for much of the region we have showers north of philadelphia. it's light, nothing like that line of storms that pushed through. we are stuck with a lot of the cloud cover, though, as the storm systems continue to push through. we can see the cluster of showers and thunderstorms out to our west. how will that impact us? as we advance future tracker 6, 8:00 a.m., there's showers around here or there. we're dealing with clouds and the chance for a shower or thunderstorm. i think the heavy complex of thunderstorms is done for the day. we're looking at lunchtime and clouds showers, maybe a pop-up thunderstorm coming through here or there. look what happens in the evening. 6:00 a.m., you see the clouds, watch this front press through. that sets us up for a beautiful friday. it's still warm it's sticky today not nearly as hot as yesterday. 73 degrees heading up to 84. it changes this evening. details in the seven day. >> thank you, happening. we have showers up to the north. that's not reaching ground. if you go up to the north and poconos you've got showers there, that's what we're watching right now, but the heavy storms they are off the coastline. let's take you outside and show you what it looks like as we go live right now on sky 6 in hd. looking at the platt bridge. we have lots of clouds up above with the cluster of storms that moved through, and leftover clouds. it's a good day that features a lot of cloud cover. 73 degrees in philadelphia. the dewpoint 67, so the dewpoint is the measure of moisture in the atmosphere. it's sticky out there. the wind out of the south-southeast at 3 miles per hour. a cluster of storms moved through the area we're not out of woods we've got lots of clouds and showers and more storms out to the west some of which will weaken as we progress toward the region. future tracker 6 shows a shower around and clouds, especially farther to the north, you have a better chance of that. 10:00 a.m., lots of clouds, same situation at lunchtime. it's not a washout of a day, but at any point you want to watch for a shower or thunderstorm. drive time watch what happens as the front pushes through. you see the clouds move out, it sweeps the humidity out of the atmosphere, setting us up for a good looking friday. if you're heading to the shore today, at any point you could get showers and clouds not a terrific day. 11:00 a.m., 3:00 p.m. 77 degrees. tomorrow it's less humid and northwesterly wind the front stalls to the south which is good for friday, not so good for
