Some Liverpool fans on social media have been reacting to the news that they’re facing the prospect of being without Mohamed Salah for a significant chunk of next season.
Salah was always bound to miss a bit of next term due to the upcoming African Cup of Nations, but it’s also being reported that Egypt want him as a part of their Olympic squad this summer.
That would mean that Salah would miss the entirety of Liverpool’s pre-season, and he’d probably need a bit of extra rest in the summer that could eat into the beginning of next season.
