New Delhi, Apr 24 (PTI) Amid the row over Congress leader Sam Pitroda's remarks, the party on Wednesday asserted that it has no plans whatsoever to introduce an inheritance tax and cited former Union minister Jayant Sinha's remarks to allege that it is the Modi government that wanted to do so.

At a poll rally in Madhya Pradesh, PM Modi targeted the Congress over push for religion-based reservation. He further said that the Congress wanted to impose inheritance tax in the country and snatch the assets and rights of people and their children.
