Serial rapist Iain Packer was yesterday jailed for a minimum of 36 years after being found guilty of strangling Emma Caldwell in a remote area of Scottish woodland in 2005.

The anonymous 37-year-old, who lived with Emma in a hostel in Glasgow in 2005, recounted horror at discovering she had been taken to the exact area in Biggar where Emmas was body was later discovered.
