The leadership of Roanoke s police department is divided and contentious. Some in the chain of command have worked to undermine leadership, according to a new outside study released a little more than a month before a new police chief arrives for duty from Danville.
There will be a new Police Chief in town soon, Scott Booth will take the lead of the Roanoke City police department as he was hired by the Roanoke City manager.
