WILTON The high school ski team took advantage of the recent winter weather at Mount Southington last week as the team carved through the fresh snow on its way to first and second place in the first Connecticut Interscholastic Ski League race of the season.
The Wilton girls ski finished with a first-place performance with a total accumulated team score was 307.88. That mark was good enough to separate the team from the rest of the field, with second-place Weston High School finishing 28 seconds behind at 335.88. Lauralton Hall finished with a score of 348.28 and New Canaan finished with a score of 350.28.
