Families Upset Over Teacher Realignment at WSU Kids Center WINONA, Minn. (AP) -- A host of families are upset over Winona State Universitys plans to cut all nine teachers from its childrens center. Sheriff: Cigarette Thrown From Car Sparks Grass Fire SAUK CENTRE -- A discarded cigarette could be to blame for a small grass fire near Sauk Centre. The Stearns County Sheriffs Office says just before 4:00 p.m. Tuesday they received multiple calls of a fire in the west ditch of Highway 71, just south of the intersection with Stearns County Road 29. Swanville Woman Hit By Vehicle Near Upsala The incident happened around 3:45 a.m. Wednesday on 70th Street, about three miles north of Upsala. The Morrison County Sheriffs Office says 30-year-old Cody Stumpf, of Little Falls, was heading west on 70th Street when he came upon a women, 26-year-old Kelsie Olson, walking in the middle of the road.
