New Delhi, Feb 15 (IANS) Childhood cancers have much better cure rates than adults, said experts on Thursday calling the need for increasing early detection.

Childhood cancer demands a specialized, multidisciplinary approach for better outcomes and a high quality of life. Cure rates surpass adults by 20-25%.

The RMC has designated 131 routes for around 4,500 registered electric rickshaws in a bid to modernise the city’s transportation infrastructure. The route plan would be published by January 10. RMC administrator Ameet Kumar said, “The strategic integration of e-rickshaws into the city’s transportation infrastructure and their route mapping have been done to reduce traffic snarls, promote sustainable commuting, and contribute to a healthier environment.”
