Target is offering all employees up to four hours of pay to get a COVID-19 vaccine.
In a press release, the retail company also states they will provide free Lyft rides to and from their appointments, up to $15 each way, if they need it.
The retailer says they don't require team members to get one in order for them to come to work, but they are encouraging them to get vaccinated.
“As more vaccines become available, especially for frontline and essential workers, we’ll help our team members across the country get the information and access they need," says Chief Human Resources Officer Melissa Kremer. "As we have for the past year, we’ll continue to invest in our team’s pay and benefits so they can take care of themselves, each other and our guests.”
