Theethum Nandrum

Director
Debutant director Rasu Ranjith s
Theethum Nandrum is watchable even though the plot and characters are very similar to few gems of the past like
Subramaniapuram and
Pattiyal. This one is set in North Chennai backdrop. Replace Jai with Eesan, Sasikumar with the director himself, and Kanja Karuppu with a cunning and ambitious Sandeep Raju with a few more subplots, the final plot of
Theethum Nandrum is ready.
Despite the similarities with
Subramaniapuram and a few more films in the same genre, the film has its moments, especially in the burglary scenes. The action sequences are superbly choreographed and shot.
