DALTON — Conway’s town administrator is one of three finalists to manage civic business in the Berkshire County town of Dalton.
In an interview Thursday night with Dalton officials, Tom Hutcheson said he is interested in stepping up to a larger challenge.
“Dalton seemed to me to be a really good opportunity,” Hutcheson told members of the Dalton Selectboard. “I’m looking for a town to settle into for the rest of my career.”
Dalton officials will meet Feb. 1 to discuss the candidates and possibly make a decision. Hutcheson is competing for the post alongside Susan Carmel of Pittsfield, the finance director in Great Barrington, and David Flaherty of Westfield, an IT consultant and member of Westfield’s City Council.
