April 08, 2021 A Mount Airy woman was among four individuals recently arrested and charged with drug trafficking-related expenses in two separate cases, according to Surry County Sheriff Steve C. Hiatt. Summer Raine Johnson, 25, of 158 Smith Landing Road, Mount Airy, Maurice T. Update - Jan. 18: Public safety officials confirmed this morning that the dump truck driver in Fridays Gretna Road crash has been released from the hospital and is in stable condition.
