Belarus, China s Hainan Province keen to step up cooperation

MINSK, 29 December (BelTA) – A delegation of the Belarusian Embassy in China visited Hainan Province on 24-26 December to take part in the 5th Sanya International Cultural Industry Fair, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in Beijing.
During the trip to the province, the Belarusian delegation met with representatives of government agencies and companies. For example, the delegation met with Deputy Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of Hainan Province Liu Hongmei in the city of Haikou to discuss prospects for supplies of Belarusian food products to Hainan Island. “The parties stressed the readiness to intensify cooperation with the help of the newly opened Belarusian culture and information center in Haikou.
