Families of the 17 New Yorkers who died in last month s horrific Bronx apartment fire sued the building s owners Tuesday, claiming safety violations led to the wrongful deaths of their loved ones.
Cardi B was called an angel by one of the family members of the victims of the deadly apartment fire in The Bronx. She previously announced that she would cover funeral and burial costs.
The death toll, originally reported as 19, was revised downwards to 17 on Monday. All died from smoke inhalation, a spokesperson for the city s medical examiner said.
