“It’s great that the hard work we have put in has been recognised, especially when you know the judges have a good knowledge and understanding of what goes into producing quality products and the effort involved.
Hard work pays off. We’d really like to thank our team – without them we couldn’t have achieved any of this and we really appreciate the fact they have never let us down during this strange year when everyone was living under such awful circumstances. They were willing to quite literally go the extra mile by volunteering to deliver goods even in their own time if we weren’t able to get to a particular area.”

Sarah Redrup, marketing manager at Grace’s Bakery, was delighted – but surprised – with the company’s success at the Baking Industry Awards after a year of uncertainty.
“We really weren’t expecting to win. We’ve never made it to the finals before or been nominated, so it was fantastic. After the year we’ve had, it feels good to have some sort of recognition that we did well,” she told
