JANAKPURDHAM, April 4: CPN-UML ministers who were a part of the Madhesh province government have officially resigned. In accordance with the resignation process, the UML ministers submitted their resignation letters to Chief Minister Saroj Kumar Yadav.
The Allahabad High Court has dismissed a criminal appeal filed against the order of the Special CBI Court at Lucknow acquitting all 32 persons, including prominent BJP leaders L.K. Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, Uma Bharti, Kalyan Singh, etc .
In its objection, the state government and the CBI had stressed that the two appellants were not complainants or victims in the case and as such they cannot appeal as a stranger against the verdict of the trial court.
