State champions Falmouth (in Alpine) and Mt. Blue (in Nordic) each place two skiers on our team.

The senior swept the Class B Nordic classical, freestyle and freestyle pursuit disciplines to lead the Falcons to a second straight state championship.

The junior's dominant season included sweeping the the Class A state championship races.

Twins win Class A races at Titcomb. Freeport's Teo Steverlynck-Horne, Greely's Sylvia Harvey, Orono's Clara White and Fort Kent's Alder Rearden also earn titles.

McCourt, a Mt. Blue junior, skis Black Mountain's tall hills and icy tracks the fastest in the girls race, while Cote, who races for Quarry Road Ski Club, wins the boys race by 13 seconds.

Participants from Dirigo, Mountain Valley and Telstar use the shorter course and ideal conditions to gain some confidence as bigger races draw closer.

The sophomore swept the Class A championship races to pace the Cougars to their second state title in a row.

Regular season winds down and the postseason is just days away.
