Picture: SUPPLIED The Fiji Police Force Batch 1 of 2021 Basic Recruits Course rounded up their training this week with the Community Policing Engagement which was conducted at the six villages in Nadi. The objective of the engagement was to demonstrate community involvement and the importance of the community to police operations. Nadi District representative Isaia Saukuru acknowledged the institution for giving them a chance to host Batch 1 of 2021 BRC. “Seeing young people training to become Police Officers has encouraged our youths to pursue a career in law enforcement. Most of us are dependent on our hotel industries but seeing these young people from Nasova here in Nadi has encouraged many to become Police Officers,” Mr Saukuru said.
