A Mountain Home woman facing a murder charge in Baxter County now faces a charge of first-degree sexual assault in Marion County.
Online court records indicate 21-year-old Savannah Nicole Wren was arrested Tuesday for allegedly having sex with a high school student around May 2019. Wren also faces a second-degree murder charge for allegedly shooting and killing 19-year-old Chaseton Lewter on Nov. 24, 2020.
According to the probable cause warrant in the sexual assault case, the Flippin Police Department received reports from the Arkansas State Police Crimes Against Children Division indicating a juvenile had been interviewed at Grandma’s House Child Advocacy Center on Nov. 13, 2020. The juvenile stated in the fall of 2018, Wren was his substitute teacher in at least two of his classes at Flippin High School.
