In April 2019, I wrote a commentary in these pages about the increasing intensity of energy opinions. I stated: “Most people can find themselves somewhere on the energy continuum. On one end of the spectrum are those who are inspired to move quickly towards a portfolio of 100 percent renewable energy. On the other end are individuals primarily concerned that any quick and sweeping changes could cause extreme financial pressure to everyone. … Neither side of the spectrum is wrong. The concerns of both have true merit.”
