Jether Tiller. 90, of Maple Heights was among the first members of the general public to receive the COVID-19 vaccine at University Hospitals in January. Tiller s daughter, a UH employee, accompanied her to the appointment. Ohioans 70 and older are now eligible for the vaccine.

CLEVELAND, Ohio Ohio continues to make the COVID-19 vaccine available to more residents, despite widespread complaints that the state has not handled the process well so far.
There are fears that adding more people to the pipeline will clog the system and make it harder to find immunizations.

The week of January 11 UConn Health began vaccinating eligible individuals age 75 years or older under new phase 1b guidance of the CT Department of Public Health. In addition to fast online scheduling, eligible patients can call the COVID-19 Vaccine Scheduling Line at: 860-679-5589.
