Schenectady County high school students can receive a Pfizer vaccine at a special vaccine clinic to be hosted Sunday at Schenectady High School.
The clinic is organized by the Schenectady County public health department and is open to 16- and 17-year-olds; the students will be asked to show a school ID upon arrival. The clinic is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The health department will be administering the Pfizer vaccine, the one vaccine currently approved for people under age 18. Individuals under the age of 18 must be accompanied to the clinic by a parent or guardian.
