Schneider Electric has invested in Biofuels Junction through its clean energy fund, Schneider Electric Energy Access (SEEAA). The Mumbai-based clean energy venture manufactures and aggregates solid biofuels, such as briquettes and pellets made from agricultural residues, as an alternative to fossil fuels. Schneider Electric aims to support Biofuels Junction in its goal of preventing the burning of agricultural waste. The financial details of the investment were not disclosed. SEEAA is co-funded by Norfund, EDFI MC, and Amundi.
