Things unsettled throughout the morning. Most of the moisture is staying to the level. Looks like as we head throughout the day we are going to still see a chance of showers, muggy conditions as we head out the door. 60s and 70s if you are headed out now. So as we look toward the afternoon the skies are going to start to part. Well see temperatures fairly mild a lot of 70s even near the coastline and 77 in san jose and 78 degrees in concord. Lets check on the lick roads with elizabeth. We are le...

Good morning, everyone. Thank you for being here. You know, as we look through this year, theres obviously some incredible events that have occurred. And for me as mayor of san francisco, i know that the chief and i and supervisor cohen and dr. Campbell and the whole Public Health staff have always had dialogue and been concerned especially when there is an uptick in june of this year on Violent Crime and homicides in san francisco. And, so, weve been working together on creating a program which...

It was really interesting. And then in my first meeting, in our first meeting with the innovation group, the city i heard of 10 other things that i clearly should have been using and didnt even know existed, literally within the first 15 minutes of the meeting. Ss things like street safety, sidewalk safety scores and quality scores so we could wrap people around places. Route people around places. Really unbelievable. We availed ourselves of resources going forward. We had the same like any data...

Is an uptick in june of this year on Violent Crime and homicides in San Francisco. And, so, weve been working together on creating a program which i announced some months ago, the ipo program, the ability to work on things that would interrupt and intervene earlier in the behavior patterns of people that would be both victims and perpetrators of Violent Crime in our city. To support the Police Department and Law Enforcement system of doing more predictive policing using both data and technology ...

Community jobs programs, others that might allow people to go in different direction. The unfortunate and very tragic incident in connecticut in Sandy Hook Elementary School of course heightened everybodys awareness of what violence can really be all about. And as we have been not only responding, reacting to this National Tragedy that i think president obama has adequately described as broken all of our hearts, and in every funeral that has taken place, for those 20 innocent children and six in...

And moving out. Theyre really looking at what arguments can you put forward to say we cannot continue the way that things are going. Think in copenhagen, the status of the car has changed. People are not used to having cars anymore. They sometimes use a car and go to a Car Sharing Club or something. It is socially acceptable to cycle. 30, 40 years ago, you would maybe be seen as a loser if he came on a bicycle, if you came on a bicycle, but now it is for everybody. Everyone is cycling. It is not...

I thank everyone for participating, and the organizational aspects by the respective staff. Vice president marshall i like when the commission joins meetings, some more than others. There is more of a nexus. We should do it again. Much sooner than never. And that we stay on top of this. There are times when just because things happen, there is a focus on it. Partly what is happening the city and elsewhere, it will stay on this, reconvene, we can really do something about not only Domestic Violen...

Well, fabiana ochoa, somewhere in the room. As supervisor mar mentioned, nate miller, he was cloned, he worked in my campaign and also on erics campaign; he is like San Franciscos secret weapon; he will go far in helping other candidates in the future. My treasurer ruth indiscernible thank you for your great work. I want to mention susana ralph, i met her when i was campaigning in 2008, she has been watching our kids every week; she has been a family member, my kids love her and she has been a g...

Together on creating a program which i announced some months ago, the ipo program, the ability to work on things that would interrupt and intervene earlier in the behavior patterns of people that would be both victims and perpetrators of Violent Crime in our city. To support the Police Department and Law Enforcement system of doing more predictive policing using both data and technology to help us do that. And then, of course, i think the most important part is to organize our communities and wo...
