Schools have a set of demands, but parents say govt must not blink
It was a day of large gathering and even larger traffic jams on Tuesday as school managements and teachers took a huge rally demanding that the
state government reverse its circular asking the schools to charge only 70 per cent of the tuition fee this year.
Traffic on the busy arterial roads in
Central Business District area took a hit. Later, addressing teachers, MLC Puttanna urged the Government to roll back the circular, saying that it was irrational as he claimed that the schools’ income had reduced by 55 to 65 per cent due to Covid pandemic.
