Tamil Nadu government school in Salem that reopened this week has been shut down again till January 25 after a class 10 student-tested studying in the school was tested positive for the virus. Along with the school, the hostel will also remain shut till Monday.
The district administration has asked other 36 students in the class to isolate themselves at home. Incase these students develop any symptoms, they will be tested too.
