Get your graduation gowns and caps ready because Gonzaga University announced that the 128th commencement ceremonies will honor the graduating class of 2021 in five outdoor ceremonies on Saturday, May 8 and Sunday, May 9, which will take place at Mead School District’s Union Stadium. The 4,500-seat football stadium is large enough to accommodate a limited number of family members and guests, in accordance to COVID-19 safety guidelines. The stadium, located at 12509 N. Market St., is around a 20-minute drive from Gonzaga’s campus. All participants – graduates, guests and others – are expected to adhere to all health and safety protocols, including wearing protective masks, physical distancing and others, as required by the state.
