In total, the Tennessee Valley Authority is distributing $80,000 to schools in Blount, Fentress, Knox and Scott counties.

Teresa Pedigo was recognized during the May Warren County School Board meeting as the classified employee of the month. Dr. Grant Swallows, director of schools, and David Northcutt, the school maintenance director, nominated Pedigo for her hard work with the school energy initiative.
