The cost of competition? School boards in northeastern Ontario spend over $1M a year on marketing

Over $1 million in tax dollars are spent every year on advertising by the 13 school boards in northeastern Ontario, CBC News has learned. Documents obtained through freedom of information requests show some boards spend much more on marketing than others.
