NORFOLK, Va. — The weekend of April 18 - 21, the city of Norfolk, the Norfolk NATO Festival and NATO will spotlight NATO nations and staff during the Norfolk NATO

A Norfolk native has returned from his trip to Los Angeles – where he was invited to speak on the Live Out Loud: Creating Your Space in Live Music panel.

Patriotic Festival is expanding to four days in 2024, kicking off with a concert featuring Warren Zeiders and Virginia Beach-native Alana Springsteen.

Norfolk has been a home for NATO operations for decades and the annual Norfolk NATO Festival is a chance to celebrate that relationship.

The festivities kicked off with the annual flag raising ceremony, representing NATO's 30 member nations, while the United States Fleet Forces Band performed, demonstrating strength and diversity.

A local favorite, the Virginia International Tattoo, runs April 28 through May 1. It is returning to Scope in Norfolk with international military bands, pomp and circumstance.

This year’s theme is “stronger together.” The pandemic forced organizers to cancel last year's event.
