Just days after writer-director Todd Phillips shared the title of his Joker sequel - Joker: Folie a Deux - Lady Gaga has joined the cast as the iconic Harley Quinn.

Phillips posted a picture of the script on Instagram.

Todd Phillips has confirmed that 'Joker 2' is in the works. He also revealed that Scott Silver has returned to co-write the script.

`Joker` earned 12 Oscar nominations for best director, best picture, and best-adapted screenplay. Further, lead actor Joaquin bagged the best actor award as well.
