Roy âDanâ Daniel Adrian, 97, of Scranton, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 24, 2020, at Accura HealthCare of Carroll.
Funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 4, at Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Scranton with the Rev. Joyce Webb of Scranton United Methodist Church officiating. Casket bearers will be Danâs family members. Burial will be at Scranton Township Cemetery.

Known to most as Dan, he was born on Feb. 26, 1923, in Carroll, Iowa. He was the son of  Roy and Elizabeth (Bilsborough) Adrian. Dan grew up on his familyâs farm near Ralston and graduated from Scranton High School in 1940. Following high school he farmed with his father. He was a lifelong member of Scranton United Methodist Church. Dan enjoyed reading the newspaper, playing slow-pitch softball in his younger years, playing cards, and traveling.
