NEW ORLEANS - Ruths Chris Steak House, the New Orleans-based restaurant chain that grew to open up more than 150 locations across the country and internationally, has been bought up by Darden, the parent company of Olive Garden and Longhorn Steak House.

The company that owns Ruth’s Chris Steak House is selling to Darden Restaurants.

In addition to Olive Garden, Darden Restaurants boasts a wide selection of other brands, including Eddie V's, The Capital Grille, and Longhorn Steakhouse.
