At the top of the hour, Medicine Hat country superstar Terri Clark said she was back in the saddle again after 18 months of virtual appearances and was elated to be performing live once again.

The grandstand crowd was elated to have her back, clapping, stomping and singing along with Clark and her band for a four-song set. Clark will perform nightly at Stampede Park until July 13 and will be replaced for the preshow mini-concert by bluegrass band High Valley until July 18.

Anyone taking a physically distanced tour of Stratford’s Christmas lights will want to include a stop at the colourful building projections that launched at city hall earlier this week.
The elaborate displays – part of the Lights On Stratford festival – aren’t necessarily holiday themed, but three top-notch projection designers and their collaborators in the local arts community have created an audio/visual spectacle that’s both perfectly suited for the season and a welcome distraction from the ongoing pandemic.
