After being given just two days to take their things and go, the 200 tenants of Seaview Lofts in Newport News are about to spend their second night away from their homes.
"I think it's pointing out a potential weakness in state law because the New Jersey owner has been unresponsive," Kaine said following a round table discussion on housing with community groups.
With a suitcase in hand, 82-year-old Carrie Young is walking to her friend Lisa’s house, less than a mile away from Seaview Lofts, to stay with her for a few days.
