Health chiefs say doctors are unable to keep up with demand and that patients in the UK desperately need a solution, with the medications considered a key weapon in the war on obesity.

The NHS has been urged to use virtual platforms which could see patients prescribed weight loss jabs online under new recommendations to combat obesity.
