Second Special Division News Today

The Commission on Elections yesterday affirmed the ruling of its Second Special Division recognizing the faction of former energy secretary Alfonso Cusi as “true and official members” of the Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan party.

The Sandiganbayan has convicted four former officials of the Philippine Coast Guard but cleared four others – including former commandant Vice Admiral Rodolfo Isorena – in the cases filed in connection with the irregular procurement of phone cards worth more than P6 million in 2014.
