Haryana, Nuh, Gurgaon Violence Updates, August 3: On day 3 of communal unrest in Haryana, Police said that Gurgaon remained peaceful except for three minor incidents of arson and vandalism in Sohna, Pataudi and Basai. A total of 18 cases have been registered in Gurgaon and over 50 accused have been arrested, said police.

The decision was taken to maintain peace in the area and avert any further violation of the law and order, a senior police officer said.

Mobile internet services have been suspended in Nuh district in India till August 2nd following clashes between two groups, as well as emergency orders being put in place. The clashes between the groups saw two home guards being shot and injured, along with over a dozen policemen also being hurt.

Section 144 has been imposed in parts of Haryana after religious clashes erupted in Nuh, Gurugram, Faridabad, and other districts in the states, claiming two lives.

Five people have been killed and over 50 injured in communal violence in Haryanas Nuh. A mob attacked a religious procession, setting cars on fire.

The Haryana state government has imposed Section 144 in the Nuh district and sealed its borders and suspended internet services till August 2.

গুরুগ্রাম এবং মূল ঘটনাস্থল নুহ্‌ জেলায় সোমবার রাত থেকেই ১৪৪ ধারা জারি। বুধবার পর্যন্ত ইন্টারনেট পরিষেবাও বন্ধ থাকবে। মঙ্গলবার কোনও স্কুল, কলেজ খোলা যাবে না।

ভাঙড়ে ১৪৪ ধারা প্রত্যাহার করা হয়েছে সোমবার থেকে। এ কথা হাই কোর্টে জানাল রাজ্য সরকার। এ নিয়ে আদালতের দ্বারস্থ হন নওশাদ সিদ্দিকি। সেই মামলায় এ কথা জানাল রাজ্য।
