Quarterback Patrick O Brien has been admitted to the University of Washington and will join the Husky football program, head coach Jimmy Lake announced today.
O Brien comes to the UW from Colorado State, where he spent most of the last two seasons as the Rams starter. A graduate of San Juan Hills High school in San Juan Capistrano, Calif., he originally attended Nebraska (2016-17) before transferring to CSU.
Last season, O Brien started three of the Rams four games. He completed 45 of 80 pass attempts for 591 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions. In 2019, he started nine games and played in two more, going 209-of-338 for 2,803 yards, 13 touchdowns and seven interceptions.
