RCMP seek help in looking for stolen pickup truck after break, enter and theft in Eel River Crossing, N B

  HALIFAX The Campbellton RCMP is asking for the public s help in finding a stolen pickup truck after a break, enter and theft at a business in Eel River Crossing, N.B. Police say that sometime between midnight and 6 a.m. on Tuesday at least three people broke into McIntyre Refrigeration & Ventilation Co. Ltd., at 506 Rue Principale. The suspects took two safes with a significant amount of money in them, as well as a pickup truck. The stolen truck is a white 2013 GMC Sierra with New Brunswick licence plate number CRN051 and vehicle identification number IGTN2TE00DZ136379. The suspects were last seen driving northbound on Rue Principale in the stolen vehicle with the safes in the back of the pickup truck, the Campbellton RCMP wrote in a news release. Police are asking anyone who may have seen suspicious activity on Rue Principale between the evening hours of May 17 and morning hours of May 18, or who has information about the break and enter or current wherea

Around 8:30 a.m. Thursday, Codiac RCMP responded to a report of a vehicle struck by bullets near Millennium Boulevard and Killam Drive. The shots appeared to come from the woods in nearby Centennial Park. There were no reports of injuries. Access to the park was closed and an Alert Ready message was issued as police conducted an exhaustive search of the park and surrounding area. Police continue their search for evidence. An updated Alert Ready message was issued at 6:05 p.m.

New Brunswick RCMP investigate suspicious death

  HALIFAX New Brunswick RCMP are investigating the suspicious death of a 49-year-old woman in the Pont-Landry, N.B. area. Tracadie RCMP said in a news release that a passerby discovered the body of a woman on Chemin W Gautreau on Wednesday afternoon. Police said in an autopsy will be conducted Friday to assist police in the investigation and to help determine the cause of death. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Major Crime Unit at 1-888-506-RCMP (7267). Three Men Arrested In Weapons, Drugs Seizure

Courtesy RCMP Three people have been arrested and 17 firearms and drugs seized following an RCMP drug investigation that began in January in western New Brunswick. On January 29, RCMP along with the police dog carried out a search warrant at a home on Wilmot Road near Hartland. During the search, police seized 17 firearms including one that was loaded, crystal meth and various types of ammunition, drug equipment and an amount of cash. A 28-year-old man and 66-year-old man, both from Wilmot, as well as a 36-year-old man from Elmwood were arrested at the scene. All three individuals were later released pending a future court appearance.
