Security Issues Pertaining News Today

The Chinese Army would continue to build up its military infrastructure and skirmishes would also get frequent in Ladakh, which may or may not follow a pattern, Reuters reported, citing a security assessment by the police.

China later on would force India to accept the fact that, as such areas have not seen the presence of Indian security forces or civilians for long, the Chinese are present in these areas, the report said.

Police officers submitted the research paper on ‘Security Issues Pertaining to Unfenced Land Border’ at the Director General of Police annual conference in Delhi.

A new report has revealed that Indian security forces lost 26 out of 65 patrolling points in Eastern Ladakh amid an ongoing standoff with arch-foe China along the 3,500-km disputed Himalayan border.

Though this research paper was one of 15 submitted at a recent police meet, attended by PM Modi and home minister Shah, it was not taken up for discussion.
