And there was no longer this same status so to speak. A couple years later in 2005, i assume opposed to nato, hard to believe now but in actual fact we were seriously talking about russia becoming a member of nato. And being a part of a membership action plan and we had a few draft sent had some discussions. Saying all that, the Alliance Still goes at Great Lengths to endorse and support and embrace arms control. And the reciprocity aspect of that. We are now have a much clearer understanding what turkey can do for our internal politics, what jordan has been able to do and others as well. To that effect i think we are getting much better understanding and less involvement of our neighbors in our internal affairs and more toward the stability of the country. Thats a good sign.
