DOVER-FOXCROFT — The SeDoMoCha School held the March Student in the Spotlight Assembly on Tuesday, March 26. Students were recognized for a habit of the mind trait chosen by their team.
Each year, Good Shepherd Food Bank offers the opportunity for our school and healthcare partners to apply for Capacity Building Grants. The purpose of this grant program is to support partners looking to increase the amount of healthy food they’re able to distribute through their programs and to increase the number of individuals they serve.

DOVER-FOXCROFT — Northern Light Mayo Hospital and the University of Maine Cooperative Extension are working together to improve access to fresh, local produce through gleaning, the art of recovering leftover food from local farm fields and farmers markets and redirecting it back to our community.
The organizations founded the Highland Area Gleaners program this summer to collect produce that might have been missed in the field or that hasn’t been sold at the farm stand.
DOVER-FOXCROFT — A month-plus into the 2023-24 academic year, RSU 68 school board members learned more about the first weeks of classes from administrators during a meeting at the SeDoMoCha School on Tuesday evening.
“I couldn’t have asked for a smoother transition to the school year,” SeDoMoCha School Principal Adam Gudroe said.
DOVER-FOXCROFT — Under the auspices of a steering committee, a partners team is working to consider the various possibilities and everything tying into the Mayo Mill Dam downtown on the Piscataquis River. — such as an assessment of the physical condition of the structure and property, an inventory, and being in compliance with all regulations — to be included in a community-based feasibility study to help determine the long-term future of the dam.
DOVER-FOXCROFT — SeDoMoCha Elementary and Middle School is participating in Special Provision II. All students enrolled at SeDoMoCha may participate in the school breakfast program and the National School Lunch Program at no charge.
