Saturday will be a busy day in downtown Bakersfield. Along with the annual Veterans Day Parade in the morning, area businesses will be abuzz with activities for Second Saturday.
Most years, the Via Arte Italian Street Painting Festival is a sunny affair, with more than 100 artists out on the pavement at The Marketplace creating temporary chalk masterpieces.
