During its June 14 meeting, members discussed the Local Initiative Program project recently brought before the town by developer Steve Venincasa.

The grants will be funded with $250,000 set aside by the town from the American Rescue Plan Act.

"[The committee] talked about this more than any other topic," said Raymond. "Our chief concern is to provide a layer of professionalism."
