The Automobile Association (AA) says it’s very concerned about the fuel price hikes that came into effect at midnight and the impact it will have on not only motorists, but all South African consumers.

Fuel prices reached record highs in August with both grades of petrol increasing by 91.00 cents a litre, while the price of a litre of diesel will go up by up to 55.58 c/l .
“In Gauteng we are looking at a record high of R18.30 a litre which is incredibly worrying for the AA considering the current economic conditions.
