Crucifixion of jesus right before christmas, what does that tell you about their disposition? >> it tells me theyve made a faustian bargain with a would be authoritarian, a man who has been coddled his whole life by privilege, nurtured by the cocoon of the presidency, who for the first time in his life is being held accountable and is rage tweeting and rage shouting victimhood. instead of saying you know what? maybe we shouldnt compare president trump to, i dont know, jesus, or maybe the impeach...

Emanates from trump and has infected the republican party. the best gift for democrats is trump. hes going to self destruct. and why do you believe what hes doing is perceptable of his weakness and not strengths? this galvanizes people. dont underestimate the power of a demagogue. >> it galvanizes his basis. however, if im wrong i will eat crow. hollow crow. women, people in the country have underestimated women. the republican party have undermined women. we78 women will be the force,

That. trump has already destroyed his presidency. and i think hell destroy himself. but we have to give him the rope to do it. if we fall into the trap that all of the republicans did in 2016 and let trump be the issue of the day, we lose. because hes really good at that. hes a narcissist. hes really good at that. >> i dont agree. >> governor kasich? >> anderson, i dont agree with that that hell self-destruct. i dont agree with that. but i think you have to have a refrain. i think you have to go...

Weakness of the suburbs. >> thats inside baseball. >> both sides have something they can point of to. the president is right guy. hes strong with his base and you heard mike murphy earlier saying that tells you where that district stands. so the reality is republicans have a profound weakness in the suburbs. the presidents base is very that we had in 2016 was narrowed considerably. democrats unemployment the right person, they can win north carolina. they unemployment the wrong person, the presi...

Someone who will allow trump to self-destruct in the suburbs, already on display in charlotte, or someone who gets in the way. just another waif saying what you just did. >> exactly right. what happened in 2018 in the midterm elections, in a lot of ways, a pure national referendum on trump played out in every congressional district, no one was in the way. in suburban districts all over the country, it dragged republicans down and democrats won in a blue wave. if that just that can happen again, ...

Why do i find it harder to believe that that voter that voted mccready last night in those suburbs is suddenly 14 months later going to split their ticket? >> well, its a great question. and look, the fact of the matter is democrats need to get out of their own way in order to let trump self-destruct. the question is will they in nominating a candidate for president. its unlikely that theyre going to nominate someone as moderate as dan mccready or someone whos as much of a blank slate like a mar...

The other part. is that smart. >> yeah, the two of them at some point theres a theory maybe the two of them will self-destruct and both going against each other and cancel each other out. what i think is interesting is that elizabeth warren is bringing this whole coalition together that is slightly different from the sanders coalition of 2016, african-americans, younger people, obviously bernie sanders had some of the young millennials. shes bringing this coles more diverse and sustainable in th...

Now he is just bernie. and being angry and yelling at people doesnt actually work very often in american politics. and we are watching sanders sort of self-destruct partly just based on style. and partly on boredom. they have already heard everything he has to say and he hasnt got anything new. as i said, i was wrong. the big surprise to me has been the kamala harris has been such a weak performer. and elizabeth warren is very, very smart. she is a little bit like your high school chemistry teac...

Self-destruct. but now they are inviting people to come with them. >> actually, things are really great in the world. its a great time to be alive. if you are a young person in america today, you are the richest, healthiest, most of blessed generation in the history of the planet. nobody has had it better than we have it in 2019. greg: unless you are kat. kat: i was confused about the reaction and the boycott of the rich people. because these people are actually shocked that their gym that charg...
