ABNORMAL odour detected at Sungai Buah and Sungai Semenyih in Selangor on Monday night (Feb 5) was found to have originated from an industrial area outside the state border.
A JOINT operation by several Selangor agencies had thwarted a water pollution incident on Monday (May 22) that had the potential to disrupt the Semenyih Water Treatment Plant operation.
A FIRE at a plastic factory along Jalan Perindustrian Mahkota Utama in Beranang, Semenyih and a diesel spill at Sungai Slim River, prompted the Selangor Water Management Authority (Luas) to issue a code yellow warning for both incidents.
