The Seminole Area Chamber of Commerce “Snow Place Like Home” event is set to take place this Friday at noon and Saturday at 9 a.m. with lots of fun things to do to get in the spirit of the holiday season.
Seminole Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Shawntay Pettyjohn approached the Council to request HOT funds for the Snow Place Like Home event set to take place on Nov. 10 and Nov. 11 at the Gaines County Civic Building.
At the Annual Ag and Oil Day Celebration, the Seminole Area Chamber of Commerce announced the four outstanding farmers over the past year. Chamber Executive Director Shawntay Pettyjohn explained to all attendees that the decision was carefully made by a committee that reviewed each application and determined who showed remarkable qualities as well as attributes for the four categories.
