In spite of the COVID challenges the Plymouth Area League of Women Voters continues its work to achieve its goal - an educated citizenry.
The League is an organization fully committed to diversity, equity and inclusion in principle and in practice. DEI is central to our organization’s current and future success in engaging all individuals, households, communities and policy makers in creating a more perfect democracy. Our members, to honor Black History Month, will participate in a book discussion on Isabel Wilkerson’s newest book, Caste; The Origins of Our Discontent. Wilkerson is a Pulitzer Prize winner. Jennifer Harris, recently retired Plymouth Public Library director, will lead the discussion. Members who wish to participate should contact Deanna Nealey at deannap1@verizon.net.
